MISHAP TO ’PLANE.
OCCUPANTS INJURED. MELBOURNE, July 19. • An aeroplane, when taking off near Essendoii Aerodrome yesterday, struck a fence and overturned., The pilot, Mr George Bills Thompson, who is a radio announcer at station 3AW, received severe head lacerations. Ronald Larsen, aged 16, an aero ground assistant, received a fractured skull, and his condition is critical.
