HERZOGIN CECILE.

SALVAGE ABANDONED. 'Received July 16, 9.40 a.m. LONDON, July 15. Captain Herald Erikson Mas found lying in water in a hold of the Finnish barque Herzogiu Cecile, overcome by fumes from the fermenting grain, but was not drowned. All hopes of salvage have been abandoned, though the ship Mas beached. Her back is apparently broken. Captain Erikson confirms the statement that the Herzogin Ceeile’s keel is broken. The damage Mas done during the stormy weather of last u-eek. The beach Mas. reputed to be of firm sand, but the ebb tide around the hull revealed a rock and the position of the vessel is now worse than when she first grounded.
