CHARGE AT WASHINGTON. WASHINGTON, July 14. John S. Farnsworth,- a former lieu-tenant-commander in the United States Navy, was arrested to-day after long surveillance and charged ■with selling naval .information, to the Japanese Government. He-ivas arraigned arid pleaded not guilty. He M'as sent to gaol duo to Ins inability to supply 10,600 dollars bail. Farnsworth, ulio Mas discharged from the service nine years ago on charges of conduct prejudicial to the service, was said to be interested in aviation while in the navy.
