SEARCH BY POLICE. Per Press Association. WELL INGI'ON, July 1 4 . When a constable discovered a broken window m the ground floor of the building occupied by Messrs llott, advertising agents, about 11. p.m., a cordon ol : policemen was drawn round the block in which the premises are situated and several others searched lor several hours all the premises in the block, including the city engineer’s department. Sounds were heard during the progress of the search and safe-blowing and other equipment were found in Messrs llott’s offices. There was a broken skylight in the roof, but no other trace of an intruder was discovered.
