The Glen Oroua Women’s Institute held their -monthly meeting hist week, Mrs L. Thompson presiding. I here avjis oniv a iair attendance. Aiuingcments were completed tor s plain and fancy dress hall to be held this month. A most interesting lectine on chicken raising was giveen by Mrs Drew of Sanson, a vote or thanks beiim accorded her by Mrs Thompson. The competitions for the month were: Thrift article, Mrs August 1, Mrs bexton 2, the trophies being kindly donated by Mrs C. Hamlin-; brawn, Mrs Sexton 1, Miss Myrtle Ilobinson 2; handkerchief, Miss Mabel Ilobinson 1, Mrs Sexton 2, Mrs Par lane d. Inc serving of afternoon tea brought a happy afternoon to a close.
