EMPLOYMENT FIGURES.
SEASON FLUCTUATION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 12. ~ Details of the unemployment registrations, as announced by the Minister of Labour (Hon. H. T. Armstrong), aro as follow: Registered, but not eligible or not placed on relief.—May 9, 2642; June 6, 3200. Receiving rationed relief work under scheme No. 5: 15,528 and 15,486. Receiving sustenance without work: 17,100 and 20,352. Totals, 35,270 and 39,038. In addition to the above there are 13,996 men on full-time work who aro either partly or fully paid from the Employment Promotion Eund, which makes a total of 53,034, as compared with 56,246 a* June last year, a reduction of 3212. Comparing the latest figures with those for Juno, 1935, the, number oi pnrt-time relief recipients (39,038) is the lowest June figure recorded under that heading since 1930.
