THE STOCK MARKET.
FEILDING SALE. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Dist. Co., Ltd., report on the Feilding sale:—We submitted an average yarding of sheep of all classes. A maud for fat sheep, which met with a feature of the sale was the strong dekeen sale with prices up fully 2s per bead on late sales. Owing, no doubt, to the boisterous day, bidding for store sheep was inclined to drag; the improvement in values shown the previous week was however maintained. Good quality dairy cows and heifers close to profit continue in active demand, with prices steady at late rates. The station beef yarded was for the most part plain, but prices were slightly higher. Beef cows, ex dairy also made higher values. A large yarding of potter cows maintained firm figures.
