ENGLISHMEN BEAT IPSWICH

BRISBANE, July 1

With spare forwards playing as backs the English Rugby League team easily beat Ipswich by 23 points to 3. There was an attendance of 3000 and the gate amounted to £2OO. The Englishmen suffered- no serious injuries. Brogden and Watkins were in brilliant form. Tries were scored for England by Brogden, Arkright, Edwards. Watkins and Troup. Hodgson kicked four goals. O’Neill scored a try for Ipswich.
