COUNT WILLONYX WINS STEEPLECHASE. RED RUFUS FLAT EVENT. The annual meeting of the Unmiovirko Hunt Club was held yesterday, witli lain fading at intervals. Count Willonyx won the-Steeplechase from War Eagle, the only two to finisii, and Red Rufus took the honours on the flai. Count Willonyx was the only runner left, whereupon Miss Pango resumed, only to find tiiat War Eagle and Royal Songster had been remounted and were in tlie race again. Royal Songster tell again, and Miss Pingo crashed, leaving Count Willonyx to win by tlireo furlongs from War Eagle, but Count I Willonyx slipped and nearly .fell eti the home turn. Souchong led past the stands from Ful Throttle, Slippery. Silver Briar, and Red Rufus. With five furlongs to go Red Rufus moved up, and at the half-mi,e he was m the lead. Red Rufus hung on all the rest of the way and won by two lengths fjom Silver Briar, who beat Slippery by half a length. Souchong was fourth. Red Rufus was well ridden and won solidly.
