(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Juno 27. In the Feilding Hockey Association’s competitions the Colyton men’s B- team are equal in tho lead with Wanderers, these two teams having 8 points each. An interesting contest for the cup should reSU Mr and Mrs Russell Searlc, of Kohu Koliu North Auckland, are visiting Mrs Searle’s parents, Mr and Mrs N. O. Hansen, “Shadloigli,” Colyton. Mr and Mrs O. Hanson, of Dunedin, are also the guests of Mr and Mrs Hansen. Miss Hams, of Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs AV. L. Pearce, “Clovcrlea,” Colyton. Mrs b. R. Hills and Mr G. Hills, of “Pine Hill, Colytcri, have returned from a visit (o Wellington. Mrs J. Jensen, of Colyton, has returned from a visit to Hastings and Takapau. Mr and Mrs P. I'. Brooks, of Ohingaiti, are tho guests of Mr and Mis F R. Hills, of "Pino Hill,” Colyton. Mr and Mrs G. L. Jensen, of Colyton, left on Friday cn a motor tour of the King Coun**The Manawatu Show was well supported bv Colyton residents. Among the successful competitors wore Miss Doris A\ ulkci and Miss Dell Adsctt, who secured awards in the horse events. Much sympathy has been extended to Mr Arthur Langdon, of Colyton in the death of his mother, Mrs K. Langdon, which was reported in the “Standard _ on Saturday. The deceased lady, who was interred in the family plot at Masterton on Sunday, w a ] 6o survived bv two sisters, iVlisscs otill* born ot Masterton, and three brothers, Messrs D. and N. Stillborn, of Masterton, and Mr B. Stillborn, of Wanganui.
