The value of the' estate of Mr Henry Barnett, a retired Canterbury farmer, whose death occurred at St. Helier s on May 21, lias been sworn for probate purposes at under £40,000. Tbe will makes provision for a gift of £ISOO to be used for tbe rebuilding in permanent material of the Anglican Church at Le Bona Bay, Banks Peninsula. If the cost of the building should not absorb tlie whole of that amount the trustees are empowered to apply the balance to refurnishing the church and providing tlie necessaiy equipment.
