OBITUARY.
AIRS L. ROSS
The sudden passing of Airs Eva. Ross, wife of Mr L. Ross, of 583 Alain Street, which occurred recently, came as a great shock to her friends. Airs Ross was 32 years of age. A daughter of the late Air and Airs J. AlcAVilliams, Airs Ross was born at New Plymouth and received her education there. Subsequently she lived in several places in the North Island before being married to Air Ross in Palmerston North about seven years ago. Airs Ross had her main interests centred in her borne, although she was a keen member of the Co-operative Guild. She leaves five daughters: Alavis, Jean, Alarga.ret, Shirley and Valeric. r . The funeral was held at tlie Kelvin Grove cemetery, Rev. F. O. Ball officiating. The pall-bearers were Alessrs C. Ross.- S. Ross, 11. Leach, R. - Linton, A. Linton and R. Judd.
LATE AIR R. AV. REABURN
The funeral of the late Air R. AV. Reaburn, a well-known and highly respected resident, who passed away last week, took place on Saturday, when a large number, assembled to pay respect to his memory. The services at the residence in Ruahine_ Street and at the graveside at the Kelvin Grove cemetery were conducted by Rev. J. Hubbard, of St. Andrew’s Presbrteriaii Church, and the- pall-bearers were Air J. S. Jenkinson (chief of the Alanawatu Scottish Society), Mr AV. Allan (chieftain), Pipe-Major A-. J. Nicholson, Piper H. Tunmcliffe, Air J AVatt and Air G. Hawker. At the conclusion of the service at the graveside the lament “The Flowers o’ the borest was played by Pipe-Major Nicholson. A large number of floral tributes ueie received.
