PAHIATTTA, June 20. TJie newly formed Mayfair Ring Pong Club held its first practice on Friday night. Miss Freda Buckingham was appointed secretary. At the Mangamutu School euchre party on Friday night there was a large attendance. The first prize was won by Mrs C. Newman, with Mrs Beales second. Mr C. Pearcey won the men’s prize, Mr Balsom being second. The Women’s Institute held its monthly meeting recently, Mrs J. D. C. Crewe presiding in the absence ol Mrs J. D. Wilson. A motion of sympathy was passed with. Mrs J. Hanison 'in the loss of her son, members standing in silence. With Mrs Murch at the piano, an enjoyable community sing was held.
