VISITS TO AVAR GRAVES

Received June 22. 8.5 a.m. MONTREUX, June 20. Difficulties are likely to arise at the Dardanelles Conference in connection with visits to the British and Australian war graves in view of-the natural desire of the Turkish military authorities to ensure the secrecy of their fortifications.

Air S. M. Bruce is closely watching the issue in London.

The Times special Montreux correspondent says that Turkey states that the question is likely to be one of tlie most delicate tho conference will have to decide. The Turkish Government are in entire sympathy with tho British desire.to preserve the cemeteries, but foreign visitors and caretakers could scarcely be welcome to the military authorities.
