IRAQ KING’S DECREE. BAGHDAD. June 10. A sequel to Princess Assas’s elopement is a decree signed bv the King and members of Cabinet being submitted to Parliament, providing that nnv prince or princess marrying without j the King’s consent may be deprived of all rights, including properly and the / | right of residence in Iraq. An Athens message dated Alay 27 read: A sensation has been caused by the elopement and seeret ituirriatrc of Princess Assn, eldest s’ster nf tlie King of Iraq, to an hotel porter. Desperate efforts bv the family to annul the marriage have been unsuccessful.
