Essex: First innings, 185; second innings, one lor GB. Essex won by nine wickets. Derby v. Yorkshire.—Derby: First innings, 258 (Townsend 101; Bowes 5 lor Gb;. Yorkshire: First innings, 112 (Alitclieil G tor GO); Yorkshire loliowud on to make 102 lor 1 wicket. Derby won on the first innings. Middlesex v. Lancashire.—Middlesex : First innings, 114. Lancashire: First innings, G lor 110. The match was drawn. Sussex v. 'Warwick.—Sussex : First innings, 283 (Cook 95; Santall 5 for 59); second innings, 109 (Mayer 7 for 51). Warwick: First innings, 104; second innings, 5 for 289 (Santall, not out, 104). A\ arwick won by five wickets. Somerset v. Kent. —Somerset: First innings,, IG9 (Freeman 6 for GO); second innings, 123 (Todd 4 tor 26). Kent: First innings, 8 for 248, declared '(Ashdown 132); second innings, 4 for 47. Kent won by six wickets.
Worcester v. Hampshire.—Worcester : First innings 200 (Creese, 5 for 44). Hampshire: First inning's, 4 for 207. Hampshire won on the first innings.
Gloucester v Glamorgan.—Gloucester: First innings, 313 (Neale, not out, 97); second innings, 1 for 69, declared. Glamorgan: First innings, 182 (Sinfieid 5 for GB, Goddard 5 for 61); second innings, 103 (Sinfieid 7 for 58). Gloucester won l>y 97 runs. Leicester v.
