AT THE WINTER SHOW.
There arrived in the Dominion recently a collection of live death-dealing reptiles, which included a huge alligator, and this reptile is being displayed at the \\ inter Show this week. In capturing this alligator alive several natives were injured and one lost his life before the monster was subduod, and it is only under a special permit and a heavy bond that these monsters wore allowed to land in New Zealand for a limited period, they will he on exhibition at the Show ill a strong wood and iron structure to ensure the safety of patrons. Look for the big alligator banner in the sideshow section.
