Celebrating the tenth anniversary of Colonel Lindbergh’s flight across the Atlantic, an air race open to the world and taking Lindbergh’s route has been planned to start from New York on May 20, 1937. WEST INDIES SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY’, June 12. The Colonial Secretary (Mr W. Ormbsy-Gore) stated in a Parliamentary reply to-day that the Government was considering the possibility of the establishment of a British air service in the West Indies, but he was not yet in a position to make any statement on the subject.
