CAR STRIKES BRIDGE.

MISHAP NEAR WOODVILLE. Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, June 11. While going from Dannevirke to a dance at AVoodville last evening, a car containing four Dannevirke and two Kiritaki residents struck a concrete bridge on the main road about four miles from Woodville. The car remained where it struck. The occupants are reported to have nil been shot into a creek containing 'several feet of water. They were rescued by the driver of the ca.r Cyril Albert White, who was unhurt, and a motorist who was following. Only one •was seriously injured, a youth, Trevor Drinkwater, of Dannevirke, who had a leg broken. The other memljers of the party, including two young wo then, suffered from abrasions and shock, but not seriously.
