SISTER SHIP TO QUEEN IMARY

ORDER BEING PLACED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright) Received June 10, 1.10 p.m. LONDON, June 9. The Shipping M’orld states that an order is being placed for a sister ship to the Queen Mary. Four firms have already submitted tenders. If the contract is placed on the Clyde, it is understood that other shipbuilding districts will be compensated with naval contracts, as the Admiralty will bo shortly ordering from private firms two battleships, three cruisers, an aircaft carrier and a number of auxiliary craft.
