NO CHANCE OF INCREASE. ASSURANCE BY PRIME MINISTER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 13. The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) gave an assurance to-day that there was no chance of an increase in the exchange rate. He said that high exchange was a barrier between ourselves and our best customer, and the greatest problem we had was to get away from that with the least amount of disturbance possible. I bat day must come, but it was not yet. Information was received in Wellington yesterday that the question of raising the rate of exchange had been discussed in Auckland, and that a piominent business man in Auckland was laying bets that the rate would be increased
