JAPANESE DAIRYING.
DANISH CO-OPERATION. Received Mnv 4 11.55 a.m. MELBOURNE, May 4. Discussing the arrival of a shipment of Japanese butter to London, the Melbourne manager of the Mitsui Bussan Raiska Proprietary stated that Japan was attempting to establish the dairying industry. Imports had been substantially reduced during the last IS months. Good herds were being built’ in the north under Danish experts. The trade in Melbourne, however, does not believe that Japan can become a serious rival in the British market lor a long time.
