FREEZING WORKS.

AND UNION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 27. A combined meeting of the Ngahauranga and Gear freezing workers yesterday resolved unanimously pledging themselves loyally to abide by the constitution of old,- the Wellington District Freezing Works and Allied Trades Employees’ Industrial Union Workers, and to strenuously oppose any attempt, either directly or indirectly, to sink the identity of the said union. They called on all workers for co-operation. ' Similar resolutions have been carried elsewhere, the object being the resuscitation of the old Freezing Workers’ Federation with the ultimate object of the workers of the industry being governed by a Dominion union.
