REVIVAL AT HOME. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 27. Greater interest in music is being taken in England, according to Mr R. Hawkes, of a firm of instrument makers of London, who arrived by the Aorangi from Sydney and leaves for America by the Mariposa on Saturday. He "said that orchestras were being formed in many English schools and music was being given a larger place in education. The 8.8. C. had inagurated a five-year plan for brass bands, and were insisting on a high standard of performance.
