STUD STOCK EMBARGO.

NO IMMEDIATE ACTION. (Bv Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON. April 22. While the Government fully realises the weight and value of scientific opinion on the question of importing stud stock from Britain, it has, says the Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. Lee Martin), also to bear in mind the strong feeling against lifting the embargo which exists among a considerable section ol tlm larnnng community. Owing to their preoccupation with major problems the Government have not yet been able to give consideration to the question of policy involved, and meantime no action is contemplated.
