BLACK AND TAN TROUBLES RECALLED.

The Free State Defence Minister (Mr Aiken), the director of the antiBritish operations in Armagh during the Black and Tan trouble, introduced a Bill in the Dail providing for pensions allowances to ex-members of the Ist Battalion of the Connaught Rangers who mutinied in India during the Black and Tan regime. The Bill was read the first time.
