A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
CAMPAIGN FOR MEMBERSHIP
With an objective aimed at of securing 1000 new members, the A. and P. Association unanimously supported" proposals brought forward at the committee meeting on Tuesday, 21st inst. A strong committee of leading business men agreed'to help forward this campaign and a substantial addition to the present membership will result. The present city membership is’ as follows:—Life members 54, annual members 529, junior members 13; total, 596. Palmerston North has a populatiort of over 22,000 and it is hoped that 1500 citizens will be willing to become members at the modest fee charged, £1 annually. The present committee of the A. and P. Association intend to improve and perfect its manv and various attractions at both Winter and Summer Shows. The benefits conferred in membership, comprising admission to the Show fixtures both summer and winter, together with ladies’ tickets, make for an attractive and worthy outlay, and we heartily commend our readers to help the association by becoming members.
