COLLEGE STREET SCHOOL.

LADIES’ COMMITTEE. The final meeting of - tbc College Street School Ladies’ Committee was held on Monday night and was presided over by Mrs Bale. Those present were:—Mesdames Watchorn, Christmas, King, Templeton, Aitken, McLeod, Whyte, Ross, Pearson, Worboys, Gush, and Livingston. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Nicholson, Duckworth, Wollerman, and Holdsworth.

Mrs ' Livingston (secretary) was heartily welcomed after her long absence owing to illness. A report on work done by the ladies’ committee during the last two years, was read by Mrs Bale. This was most satisfactory and showed a steady increase in profits from the various functions, mainly the annual halls, and gala days. Mrs Bale also offered her most sincere thanks to all the ladies on the committee for their loyal support and co-operation during her term as chairwoman.
