COURT OF APPEAL.
PETITION SUCCEEDS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 20. The first case to be heard before the Court of Appeal after the Easter vacation was a petition for leave to appeal in forma pauperis brought by Alexander Pooley, of Auckland. On March 9 Mr Justice Fair granted permanent maintenance to appellant s wife, and appellant now sought.to appeal against this decision. After hearing counsel for the appellant, the Court granted the leave sought, saying an important legal question was involved.
