ROUND TABLE CLUB.
TWO ADDRESSES GIVEN. Members of the Round Table Club met in the Y.W.C.A. rooms last evening, Miss C. Fitzgerald presiding. Several new members were welcomed. An address was given by Mr R. H. Billens on "Current Events," and he painted a vivid x picture of the situation in Europe. He explained the contributing factors, and gave a .very comprehensive survey. Mies C. Warburton spoke on "Women's Movements Abroad," telling the gathering particularly of an international domestic science conference which was held in England last year, and which had been a representative gathering of 34 nations. Sue spoke of the servant problem in England, and told how the people had had to install more modern appliances in the kitchen because of this. Mr billens and Miss Warburton were accorded a vote of thanks. Supper brought the evening to a conclusion.
