DOMINION LEGISLATION.

AUSTRALIA’S INTEREST. , Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 13. Keen interest is being taken in Australia in the New Zealand legislation, said Mr R. L. Saunders, United Australia Party member for Willoughby, in the New South Wales Parliament, who arrived by the Monowai last evening, accompanied by his wife and two daughters. He is travelling to England, but is making a short stay in the Dominion to gather information regarding the new legislation in New Zealand. Mr Sanders is particularly interested in the Dominion employment schemes which provide standard wages. Personally, he would favour a. shorter working week for Australian workers, provided it was universal throughout the Commonwealth. Unemployment was decreasing in New South AVales. There was a demand for artisans and in certain crafts it was difficult to obtain tradesmen. There had been a great revival in the building trade.
