BRITISH STEEL OUTPUT. (British Official Wireless J Received April 11, 8.5 a.m. RUGBY, April 9. Last month the production of steel ingots and steel castings in the United Kingdom reached the highest tonnage on record at 980,100 tons, as compared with 938,500 tons the month before and 841,900 tons a year ago. The production of pig iron in March amounted to 633,600 tons, as against 534,700 tons the month before and 554,200 tons a year ago.
