PALMERSTON NORTH,CLUB. At the Palmerston North Golf Chib’s course at Te Matai yesterday, the first qualifying round of the Easter tournament was played in conjunction with a medal handicap. With the greens and fairways in good order some excellent cards were handed in, the best nett score being that of W. Cater, who, with a handicap of 15, topped the list with a score of 65.
