THE DARDANELLES.
REBUILDING OF FORTICATIONS. TURKEY’S DESIRE. LONDON, April 6. Replying to a House of Commons question as to whether the Government had received any communications from Turkey in reference to rebuilding the fortifications in the Dardanelles, the Foreign Secretary (Mr R. A. Eden) said there had been no official communication, but the Turkish Minister- of Foreign Affairs had mentioned the desire of his Government to raise the question at a suitable moment. •
