AIRSHIP COMMANDER.
IGNORING OF DR. ECKENER. (Times Cables.) LONDON, April 6. The Berlin correspondent of rthe Times says it is not surprising that Dr Hugo' Eckener, in a message from Rio de Janeiro, denies knowledge of his “disgrace” for declining to allow the Hindenburg to be used for election propaganda purposes, for the instructions to the German Press not to mention him in connection with the Hindenburg’s trans-Atlantic flight were givgn after the airship’s departure. The newspapers continue to ignore him, although it is rumoured that German correspondents abroad, ignorant of the ban, are sekling cordial references to Dr. Eckener, which do not appear.
