TIMBER WORKERS’ MEETING
A successful meeting of timber workers was held in Palmerston North on Saturday. There was" a very good attendance, and after an address by the general secretary of the Wellington Timber Workers’ Union it was unanimously decided to form a branch in the city. Officers were appointed and a committee set up to attend to matters of organisation and the .forthcoming sitting of the Conciliation Council.
