MEMORIAL TO KING.
PROPOSALS EXAMINED. (British Official Wireless. ) RUGBY, April 4. No fewer than 180 suggestions .for schemes for a memorial to King George V were before the first meeting of the executive committee held .in the Mansion House yesterday under the chairmanship of the Archbishop of Oanterbu VAs a result of the examination, the proposed schemes for a statue in the centre of a large site were reduced to three and suggestions for a philanthropic scheme to four.' Those seven proposals will be sent for consideration. to two special sub-committees which have been formed to examine them in detail.
