YEAR’S BANKRUPTCIES.

DECREASE SHOWN. The number of bankruptcies recorded in the large district of which Palmerston North is the centre for the financial year ending to-d&y, shows a decrease of two when compared with that of the corresponding period of 1934-35, when 19 petitions were filed. The petitions include those filed by six market gardeners. In the months of March 1935 and 1936 no petitions were filed.
