FATAL COLLISION.

TAVO MEN. KILLED. HAMILTON, March 18. Two men were killed and another was very seriously injured when two motor trucks collided shortly before 6 o’clock this evening on the KaramuAVhatawhata Road, two miles south or the junction with the road to Raglan. The victims were:— KILLED. mTT HAROLD WILLIAMS, aged 35, Dinsdale Road, Frankton.—Killed instantly. MR WILLIAM JARVIS, aged 62 Colombo Street. Frankton. —Died in hospital a few hours later as a result of internal injuries. INJURED. AIR WILLIAM ALTAIAN, aged 27, YViiatawliata. —Severe internal injuries; condition very serious. A party of nine relief workers were returning to Hamilton in a half-ton truck drived by Mr Leonard Ray Grogan, 34 IGrth Street, Hamilton East, and when proceeding down an incline on a slight curve of the road became involved, in a collision with a lieayilyladen lorry coming in the opposite direction, driven by Air James Richard Gore, farmer, of Karamu. Three occupants of the lighter vehicle received serious injuries, but the driver and the other occupants were unhurt. Mr Gore was not injured. Both vehicles were driven away under their own power, ana were not extensively damaged.
