News of the death of Roy Rcc.d. following a- racing accident at Trentham on Tuesday afternoon, was received with deep regret by sportsmen and others in thin district. Roy was a native of Bulls, his father being a trainer and jockey hero many years ago, and tho jockey brothers, Ashley, Con, and Roy, were very popular. Hoy was riding at the recent race meeting in Bulls, and renewed acquaintanceships with many schoolmates and others while here.
