Representatives of the Australian fruit growers have asked tho Minister of Commerce (Mr Tliorby) to make a fresh effort to have the New Zealand embargo against Australian fruits lifted. They pointed out that the Dominion is now importing citrus fruits from other countries. Mr Thorby replied that the Government would again ask tho New Zealand Government to admit fruit certified free from disease.
