ANOTHER GREAT ATTRACTION. Patrons of the Manawatu speedway will have another opportunity to-night of seeing Put! Mossman’s Yankee cinder shifters in • action, and judging by their performance last week, the evening will bo an exciting one. Speedway patrons nro unanimous in their opinion that the American team has given the best show ever seen in Palmerston North, every rider being out to win. An additional attraction to-night will be the first pearance of Stan Greatrex, one of England’s foremost riders, who is to appear in a special match race of four laps against Byrd McKinney, of U.S.A., and other events. Howard Tolley, late of Manawatu and now riding very successfully in Wellington, will also make a reappearance, on the local track. Putt Mossman will give an exhibition of trick riding, including his ladder climb over an extended ladder, and is again assured of a warm welcome' from his audience. He is without doubt the world’s foremost stunt motor-cyclist. The programme will bo an excellent one and it is .confidently expected that although last week’s show was a great one this week’s will eclipse anything previously seen. Those who have not seen a speedway meeting have missed something worth while, and to-night will again give them the opportunity of having an enjoyable and exciting evening's entertainment, The main stand is being mado available for 1500 scats in addition to the 800 on the small stand. Cars will also bo admitted at a nominal charge.
