DROWNING TRAGEDY.

IN WANGANUI RIVER. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Feb. 10. Apparently falling into tlie Wanganui River while gathering firewood near Hallsweil Street this evening, Roy Jack Calver, aged nine, of 78 Glasgow Street, was drowned. A younger brother and another boy were with deceased when the accident occurred, but' the alarm was not given till some time later. The body lias not been recovered.
