AUSTRALIANS’ GOOD SCORE. Received February 11, 9.30 a.m. BULAWAYO, Feb. 10. Australia, in the first innings of their cricket match against Rhodesia, made 357 runs. The match was resumed at 2.15 after heavy rain. Darling and Barnett batted attractively. The former was at the wickets for 132 minutes and hit nine 4’s. Brown, anxious to get his century before stumps, lashed out and was caught in the outfield. The grand innings occupied only 85 minutes. THE INDIAN TOUR. MATCH WITH MYSORE. Received February 11, 9,30 a.m. BANGALORE, Feb. 10. Mr Tarrant’s team of Australian cricketers have commenced a match against Mysore. Mysore, in the first innings made 216 (Hosking 95; Oxenliam 5 for 84, Mair 2 for 24). Mr Tarrant’s team in the first innings have lost 3 for 150 (Bryant 22, Love not out 60, Morrisby 29, Hendry .31).
