SERVICE AT MIDNIGHT.
RAILAVAY AIAN’S FUNERAL. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, Feb. 10. A funeral service was held at an unusual hour this morning, when members of the railway staffs assembled just after midnight to pay their last respects to Air Alexander Sligo, a shunter, who died yesterday. The service at the house was conducted by Rev. R. S. AA’atson, prior to the body being placed on the night express for Dunedin.
