GOLF
GLENDINNING CUP. An entry was made upon the Glendinning Cup series at the Hokowpitu links at the week-end when a big field participated in a four-ball bogey match. Although there was tangible evidence of the storm on all hands, the course itself was in splendid order and some excellent golf resulted, the winning card being one of 6 up. The detailed results were:— L. P. Speeohley and W, J, Knights, up; E. G. Seeker and D. McKenzie, 5 up; L. A. Ferguson and B. Louisson, 5 up; P. G. Tizard and W. E. Winks, 4 up; O'Shea and E. E. Chapman, 4 up; J, Graham and J. E. Lewis, 3 up; J. F. Eofiden and N. H. Sinclair, 2 up.
