MANAGING-SECIIETAIIY’S REPORT. ALL-ROUND INCREASES. . Reporting to the monthly meeting ot the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board, to-day, the managing-secretary (Mr K. \V. Eglinton) stated that for the nine months of the present financial year the sales of current were £3132 14s greater than for like corresponding period of the previous year, and the purchase of current had risen correspondingly by £IO2O. The total revenue had increased by £3IOO 9s 9d for the period, and the increase in the total expenditure had been £1377 Os fld. , The collections for the month amounted to £417 15s 3d, and the amount outstanding was £3898 lis 9d. Other figures were as follow, dealing with the nine months’ period of the financial year, those for 1935-30 being mentioned first and those for 1934-35 second: Sales of current, £Ol,971 17s 2d, £58,839 3s 2d, Increase £3132 14s; purchase of current, £27,300, £20,340, increase £1020_; total revenue £62,412 13s lid, £59,312 4s 2d, increase, £3IOO 9s 9d; total expenditure, £60.804 6s, £59,426 19s sd, increase £1377 6s 9d. The power fund account stood at £7859 0s lOd, and the loan amount at £2S3O 2s lid. During the month the sum of £SOOO had been received as the amount of the supplementary loan.
