FOXTON.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Jan. 25. Aliss A. McKenzie left this week on a holiday to he spent in the South Island. Air and Airs H. 11. Hornblow, who have been visiting Mr and AJrs W. K. Barber, of Aloluiti, have returned to Hamilton. Iho friends of Mrs G. Hughes, who has been seriously ill in a private hospital in \\ cllingtoii, will be pleased to learn that she has made such an improvement that it will be possible to for her to return heme at an early date. The friends of Mrs H. A. Hannay, of Purcell Street, will regret to learn that she is at present confined to bed in Palmerston North. Mr and Airs Hannay were on a motor trip in the north when Mrs Hannay contracted influenza. Atr and Mrs F. Procter, junr.. and their small son, who have been spending a holiday in Foxton as the guests of Air and Airs F. Procter. of Purcell Street, have returned to Auckland.
