At the Australian tennis championships yesterday results were as follow in the semi-finals : Women’s singles.—Miss N. Wynne (Victoria) beat-Miss Tv' Coyne (New South Wales), I—6,1 —6, 7—5, 7 —5; Miss J. Hartigan (New South Wales) beat Miss Blielc (Victoria), 7 —5, 6—3. Mixed doubles. —Kay and Miss Blick beat Moon and Miss Hartigan, 7 —5, 6 —2; Hopriian and Mrs Hopman beat Schwartz and Miss Griffiths, 4 6, 6 — o, 6 — 2. 1
Men’s doubles. —Crawford ond AlcGratli beat Hopman and Schwartz, 6 —4, 7 —5, 5 —7, 6 —2; Turnbull and Quist beat Kay and Hone, 6 —4, 0 4, 6—4.
