Y.M.C.A. CAMP ENDS.
i NINETY BOYS RETURN. Bronzed, healthy, fit and proud of their physique, 91 boys who spent most of the summer vacation in the Y.M.C.A. camp at Pohangina have returned home. The number of boys under canvas at the camp was a record. There was freedom from sickness and the experiment of extending the duration of the camp from three to four weeks was so successful that this term will probably be adopted in future. The boys were under the charge of Messrs C. Woods (physical director) and L. Gittings (boys’ work director), and had a very happy time, despite the weather being not quite up to expectations.
